Caltag Medsystems are a leading supplier of life science research reagents and in vitro diagnostics, to the UK and Eire. Their portfolio includes over 200,000 products from 38 brands, covering research areas such as Immunology, Cancer, Infectious disease, Obesity & Metabolism, Epigenetics and many more.

As part of their Clinical Flow Cytometry portfolio, Caltag Medsystems provided the FlowStainer: the first fully automated solution for clinical flow cytometry sample preparation. The FlowStainer project for Caltag was supported by Peter, during its introduction to the UK. Instrunor the company producing the FlowStainer was sold to Fluidigm in 2020, which rebranded as Standard Biotools in 2022.
